Description

  • Zero sediment in your cup thanks to this new 2-stage filtration system!
  • Transform any existing Frieling French Press into THE BEST French Press on the market.
  • Patented invention: Inside the coiled spring is a secondary flat spring. Together these two springs prevent coffee grounds from bypassing the filter system. A second, Italian-made fine mesh screen holds back even small particles without clogging (100% steel – no plastic anywhere).
  • Upgrading your Frieling French Press is easy: Unscrew plunger, replace old spiral plate with new, add patented screen, and screw back together. Your next cup will be sediment free!
  • How do you know whether you may benefit from this kit? If your current plunger holds only one single screen, you can further enhance the quality of your coffee by upgrading to this new improvement.
  • All Frieling French Presses shipping after August 2016 already come equipped with this new patented filtration kit.
  • For use with the 36 fl. oz. Frieling French Press.

3 of 5 disappointed in the quality and value Saturday, October 10, 2026
Reviewer: Kevin Knox from TUCSON, AZ United States
For the relatively high price one would expect that the fine mesh screen would be well-made but instead it has very sharp, rough unfinished edges that could easily cause a cut. Not up to the super quality one would expect from Frieling.

5 of 5 Review on Replacement Filters Sunday, September 27, 2026
Reviewer: Daniel Monger from Tunkhannock, PA United States
I ordered a replacement filter screen set and bottom spring support for my 34 fl oz french press direct from Frieling's website. We've had this press for 30 years, no problems. Except the screen had holes and grinds and coffee cup slud at the bottom was getting to be a problem. All remedied. Thank you. I prefer OEM items (from SC, good ole USA), not Chinese knockoffs.

The product was delivered as promised. However, I first mistakenly ordered the wrong size, which I would like to return.
