The Freiling 17 oz. french press silver container will last forever. The only parts that could wear out or get lost are the push downs (plunger with screens, rod, and nut). Why trust a random third party supplier whose parts may or may not fit when you can order from the actual company Freiling. My parts arrived quickly and well packaged from their South Carolina office.
