Hi, we like the coffee press its components are well made the it separates the coffee ground from the liquid very well. But the coating is quickly peeling off. we purchased a Frieling 7005 coffee press specially because it was dishwasher safe. After less than 6 month the coating is peeling off. It started peeling off in one little Nick but has continued to expand its peel off and has continued to peel off in numerous areas which are expanding too. We want to know if this is normal and we should watch the transition to a solid silver canister or is the color we picked supposed to be around for longer.
