36 oz French Press September 21, 2024 Reviewer: Gwenn from Wexford, PA United States   I haven't used a French Press in more than 30 years, but wanted a totally plastic and "other metal" free way to brew excellent coffee.  So far I am very satisfied with my decision to purchase this press from Frieling.  The construction appears to be very solid, the coffee was excellent, and clean-up was simple. 23 0z Double Wall Miror finish May 7, 2024 Reviewer: Stephen Thorpe from Corpus Christi   I grew up in Southern Louisiana where making bad coffee was, pardon the pun, grounds for being shu ned. Received my 23 oz. as a gift. Thought I'd only use it on weekends and holidays. Wrong. It makes such superior coffee I keep my drip pot coffee maker stored in a cabinet somewhere (?) and use my Frieling every day. A word of caution though, I began shaking the lid holding the plunger rod to get the out of the lid after soaking it. It eventually malformed the lid opening and it let water accumulate in it. Quick cure though, I just ordered a new lid and never had a problem since. Parting shot, the double wall design keeps the coffee hot between cups as I peruse my various morning news sources. Extremely Sturdy and beautiful April 28, 2024 Reviewer: MC Connor from Brooklyn, NY United States   I have owned many other french presses including another stainless steel one recently.  First, this is the first I have had that does not get grounds caught in the filter.  The Frieling is quieter when pressing coffee and the metal rubs on metal as well. It is also a very attractive piece.  The weight indicates to me this may be better made than the others as well. So far I have had it just a handful of days so can't speak to its longevity, but all signs point to this one being in use for many years to come. Was this review helpful to you?

cheap product - plunger lids fill with water. July 19, 2023 Reviewer: Rich from Canada   Was impressed at first, but noticed after a while the plunger lid seemed heavy, then noticed when shaking it you could hear water slooshing around in it.  The seems around the hole in the lid were letting water in when I was washing them. I replaced the lid and now the second one is doing the same. Basically im plunging coffee while stagnant soapy water leaks from lid - not very good. For the price you'd think they would have made them better. I won't be buying anymore not worth it for the price - theres better quality for less out there. Was this review helpful to you?
